my line of muirs

My father's name is Mark Muir, his father's name was Allan Herbert Muir, and his father's name was Allan Baines Muir. i don't know my great great grandfather's name is but i do know that he immigrated to New York from Aberdeen Scotland and another part in the highlands some time in the late 1800's Allan Baines muir married Catherine Faust and had two sons Allan Herbert Muir (deceased as of 2005) and Larry Muir (deceased as of 2004). As for my great-grandfather a few of his brothers had moving company called the "Muir Brothers" during the 1920's and 1930's. Allan Herbert Muir married Kathleen Reilly (deceased as of 2003) and had 6 children. Mary Muir Murkeson, Vincent G Muir (deceased as of dec 2007), Mark G Muir, Kathy Muir Busby, Regina Muir, and Eileen Muir. My family consists of Mark G Muir, Cindy Schiffman muir, myself Heather Ann Muir, my brother Brian Joseph Muir, my sister Kathleen Rose Muir and brother Allan David Muir. I have found it difficult to find anything research about my muir line, any help is appreciated as well as questions.

Please let me know of any additions/corrections I can make to the above.

I do have at least a few questions: 1.) You mentioned Allan Baines MUIR had brothers. I know of 1 (Brisbane), but do you know the names and any other info (esp. birth, marriage, and death dates or locations) on the other siblings he may have had? 2.) "Bribane" seems to be a rather unique name among MUIRs. There are 2 others that I currently know of; A.) married a Maggie BARCLAY in 1875 in Paisley (Renfrew), Scotland; and B.) b. 04 MAR 1762 in Duddingston (Midlothian), Scotland and m. Margaret BUCHAN or McKAY in Edinburgh (Midlothian), Scotland.
