Dear Dave:

I really like this one. Did you take it? I'd be curious to know how far it may have retreated with the "global warming." I don't know if you heard or not, but ... supposedly out of all of the glaciers retreating or even disappearing, I heard of one that's actually growing. If I recall correctly, it's in South America, possibly Chile.
Also, as far as in Glacier National Park, Montana, some of the glaciers have actually disappeared and all the rest have retreated, some to where they are only about 30% of their former size. I believe that they estimate that by about 2030 that they may all be gone. That's bad news in one way, but ... personally, I am more inclined to like "warmer" winters myself.
