1. James MUIR was born about 1733.1,2 "Abt 1735" according to Mormon IGI He lived in Durrisdeer (Dumfries), Scotland after 1735.2 He died on 9 May 1813.1 He was buried in Tinwald (Dumfries), Scotland.1 Tinwald Cem.
Mary DALZIEL was born about 1733.1 She died on 6 Jan 1809 in Tinwald (Dumfries), Scotland.1 She was buried in Tinwald (Dumfries), Scotland.1 Tinwald Cem. James MUIR and Mary DALZIEL had the following children:
2 i. Robert John MUIR was born on 27 Oct 1761 in Durrisdeer (Dumfries), Scotland.1,2 Durrisdeer Auchensheoch He died on 11 Sep 1840 in Kirkland, Scotland.1 He was buried in Tinwald (Dumfries), Scotland.1 Tinwald Churchyard
+3 ii. Alison MUIR, born on 11 Sep 1763, Durrisdeer (Dumfries), Scotland2.

Second Generation
3. Alison MUIR (James-1) was born on 11 Sep 1763 in Durrisdeer (Dumfries), Scotland.2 Durrisdeer Auchensheoch
Mormon IGI gives name as what may appear as "Mison Muir," which could easily be a "mis-spelled" "Alison"
John WHILLANS3 was born. Alison MUIR and John WHILLANS had the following children:
5 i. James WHILLANS was born about 1794. He was christened on 19 Oct 1794 in Bedrule, Scotland.3

The more names (full names are definitely best) and specifics (e.g. vital stats, such as birth, marriage, and death dates and locations) would be much appreciated. I am very proprietary with the info folks are kind enough to share with me. Also, if you are willing to share info on currently living folks, you may want to write me privately so the info doesn't go out on a public board, unless you so wish it to be out there.
