I am happy to say I am just home from Glasgow where I was able to get copies of my grandparents birth certificates. There were a few surprises. I now have info you can add to your data base and who knows maybe link me.

How is the best way to share this with you?

I would also be interested in who you are connected to in Plymouth as my husbands family on his mothers side goes back to the Mayflower. She is a memeber of the Mayflower Society.

I would greatly appreciate any information on descendants of this line and would be willing to share what information that I have.

I am looking for any relatives living in Scotland connected to John Muir who was born in Carnwath Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland. John was born on June 18, 1777. Married Mary Prentics in 1807. Mary was born in 1787 in Scotland. John died 9-06-1867 in Scotch Ridge, Ohio., buried in Scotch Ridge. John and Mary had 7 children all born in Scotland. I would assume that when John and Mary immigrated to the U.S. in 1836 from Linlithgow, they had the children with them. If the names of the children would help, I can get them. If Lanarkshire or linlithgow are near any large cities I woul like to know. Thanks for your help. George
